We are a licensed psychologist and licensed specialist in school psychology serving children and families in Round Rock, Texas. We hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (magna cum laude & departmental honors) from the University of the South, a Master's Degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University, and a Doctoral Degree in Child Psychology from the APA-accredited School Psychology program at the University of Texas at Austin. Our clinical training includes individual therapy and psychological assessment across a broad age range from preschool through adults in diverse settings. We completed a one-year pre-doctoral internship at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, gaining specialized experience at the alternative education placement center and the preschool assessment center. Our post-doctoral residency was conducted through the Round Rock Independent School District, where we developed expertise in autism assessment. Prior to establishing private practice, we worked seven years within the school setting, acquiring in-depth knowledge of IDEA and Section 504 eligibility processes.
This school-based experience enables us to create practical, evidence-based treatment plans that align with assessment results and are easily implemented at home and in school. We have served as an adjunct professor at Texas State University, teaching psychological assessment to master's-level students. We currently sit on the Professional Advisory Committee for South University's Psychology Department and maintain active membership in the American Psychological Association, APA Division 53 (Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology), and the Society for Personality Assessment.
