Our Compassionate Psychiatrists, Mental Health Providers, and Therapists Are Here to Help You Find the Road Back to You. Our mission is to provide patient centered, high quality behavioral health services to meet the needs of individuals and families in Alabama and Southern Tennessee. IBH offers a variety of integrated behavioral health services including outpatient and inpatient services, as well as onsite psychiatric services in long-term care facilities.
IBH services consist of psychiatric assessments and evaluations, medication management, individual and family counseling, treatment planning, and disease education. IBH began in August of 2013 as a small behavioral health outpatient clinic in Ardmore, Tennessee. Founder Dr. Sanjay Malhotra noticed a need for comprehensive, personalized behavioral health care.
While there were other psychiatric practices in the area, IBH grew quickly because of our distinctive approach to behavioral health. Through holistic evaluations of biological, environmental, and/or psychological causes, our caring providers can assess the unique symptoms of each patient.

CBTis a psychotherapeutic treatment used to treat a variety of mental health issues such asaddictions, phobias, personality disorders, eating disorders, and depression.
CBTis an extremely effective and useful mental health treatment because it teaches you coping skills that you can use now and in the future.
Through CBT, you and your therapist will set realistic goals focused on changing negative thought patterns and rehearsing positive ways to deal withnegative thoughts in the future.
If you are feeling hopeless because of your mental health disorder but are apprehensive of more intensive treatments, CBT is a fantastic place to begin therapeutic treatment as it is less focused on digging into the root of the issue and more focused on building positive thought patterns.

Who We Serve

Children are our greatest asset.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of the adults in their lives to lay the foundation for success.
If children experience abuse and trauma, especially during their early formative years, their mental development can be seriously impacted in truly devastating ways.
For some, these effects may persist long into adulthood.
Many children who have experienced trauma will not explicitly communicate their feelings because they may not be fully cognizant of the gravity of their situations.

Addiction and substance abuse are two of the most stigmatized mental health issues, yet they affect nearly 20 million Americans annually.
If you feel you might be struggling with a substance abuse disorder; you are certainly not alone.
Substance Abuse Disorders are extremely common and often become a progressive problem, beginning with the voluntary use of drugs or alcohol, and later leading to a compulsive dependence on the substance(s).
Though addiction and substance abuse are highly treatable disorders, studies show that only 10% of those affected seek treatment.
